I also have the King James Version and it does not use quotation marks at all. So I AM WONDERING WHERE YOU GOT YOUR SCRIPTURE FROM. In my copy of KJV there are no quotes at all in the verses you posted.

However, it is easy to tell when Jesus is speaking and when John is speaking.

Jesus always refers to himself as the son of man.

John always refers to Jesus as the son of god.

You are using a bad translation.

Please tell me what bible you got those quotes from. Even the Reims does not use quotation marks. Apparently thet were not used hundreds of years ago.
