Smoked Glass

I have aquired these smoked glass round blanks. One is 8" and 1.25" thick the other is 14" and 1.75" thick. They came from a old foundry. I have no idea what they were used for. They seem very strong and heavy. They are the color of deep brown or red like beer bottles. Can they be ground and polished? Or should I just toss them? Thanks. |
