The only thing that I would worry about is whether they're tempered glass. A few questions to some of the old foundry workers could answer the question or you could just do some grinding and see if they shatter (won't hurt you but all of a sudden you will have glass pieces) when you grind them. As far as usability is concerned, they are at least glass so they will probably take an excellent polist like glass always do. I'd try them out and see what happens. |
