ATM Cassegrain For Astrophotography?

As rediculous of a question as this may be, what is the possibility of builing a telescope that will provide superb image quality for serious CCD astrophotography? Im very interested in getting involved with astrophotography of the quality present in such photos as those taken by The Baker Observatory, but I would prefer to do it without the $30k+ pricetag of the RC Scope he uses. |
