Correcting A TUE?

My 10 inch F/4.4 mirror is getting close to finished now but I have a TUE and an almost perfect figure from center to the 90% zone.

The center is just a tiny bit high out to the 50% zone. Figure45.exe shows the center to be .050 microns high. The edge goes from 0 at the 90% zone to .100 microns high at the edge.

Now, I tried doing 1/2 strokes for 3 trips around the mirror and I only succeeded in reducing the center by .040 microns. The edge does not seem affected. Then again, I only waited 1 hours after doing the corrective strokes. It might be too soon to see changes in the edge.

Any ideas on how to take down the TUE without affecting the center?

Thanks,

Tom Picciani.
