I am trying to 'Spherize' my 8" f/7. I have done about 10 wets 1/3 CoC with 80 grit but there is no significant change. This is over and above the Coc grinding i did before i had to go back to 80 grit from fine grinding.

Am i doing it right ? or do i need to try some special stroke (Mel Bartels recommends a long W stroke) I am not sure i want to strange things with my mirror. As it is I have done enough silly things.

PS : This is the third time I have gone back to 80 grit.
