Hello All,
Well, i polished with the pads for a total of 4 hours 45 minutes, polishing time, the mirror is clear about 50% of the radius, its the outer edge that is lagging, would have continued to poilsh but...seems one of the corners of one pad is lifting again, and i was worried about something terrible happening. (second time this has happened, glued them back down last time).I am therefore going to make my pitch lap and finish polishing out with it,my question is this...should i change my stroke at this time ( I've been using the c.o.c. short 1/4 stroke, t.o.t. for the last hour of polishing). being as i will be using a pitch lap when i continue polishing i am concerned about getting a t.d.e. so i am not sure if i should continue this way or change something, any advise would be appreciated
