Hello everone. I reciently became very interested in making my on telescope. I have read extensively on the internet since then. I am up to the stage where I am pricing blanks, and deciding if I need more information before starting. I currently have a 4.5 store bought reflector that is ok, but no longer meets my aperture hunger needs. I am consider making a 10" scope for my first try, maybe f-5 or so. Do you think this is to much for a first try? And how important is it to get a Book on ATM vs. reading most everything there is on the net on how to grind a mirror? |
