Size Difficulty

I've made up to 14 inch and really found no major differences in size other than time. It does take longer for the bigger ones, but not markedly so. A full thickness 10 and 12 blank is pretty big and heavy, and you naturally are more carefull (a GOOD thing!), but a thin 14 inck plate glass blank is just as easy to handle as a 6". Personally I would go for the 10 if that's what you want.I've said it before here, if I were limited to only one scope, it would be a longish ( 60~ 70" FL) 8 or 10".
