I have to apologize, I am (and was) very tired when writing this and the posts in this thread.
There are Celestron Firstscope 114 Short (~250$), Orion ShortTube 4.5`` (~230$), and probably some other, which I have missed or forgotten, with a short tube but a rather long focal.
As I have found on the Net, the BSA rifle scopes are quite appreciated by the hunters community.
I would like to know if this design (short tube - long focal) is worth smth, due to the fact that it is made, as far as I understood, by a system of lenses or smth like that.
