Hello
I have fortunately got my hands on a 74 mm diam., ~290mm focal l. plan-convex lens.
I`m trying to make a scope out of that and intend to use something like a 3.6 mm and 6 mm Celestron eyepieces.
Any oppinions, suggestions & all?
The problem is that I cannot find any convex or plan-convex lenses with longer focal, the only ones being regular eyeglass lenses which are concave-convex ones and absolutely not recomennded for any such project.
Thanks.
