With a refractor of such a short FRatio, it is better not to get near the resolution limits of the lens but rather go more to a low power system. 20 power is enough to see M57 and that would be a 29mm EP thus a 18mm - 25mm EP would be a lot better choice for you for this scope. Also, if you get too much power, extended objects like M101 tend to disappear in the EP and I have the best results with my 15x80 binocs for looking at the galaxy. |
