Ok the Earth is getting more polluted and will run out of resources before long.

How about an eruption on the Jupiter and this causes Europa to be pushed out of orbit. Europa then heads toward Venus pulling that planet out of orbit. Venus and Europa now in a mutual orbit pull further from the sun. Say a mean orbit of about seventy eight million miles. As the larger planet Venus takes up a stable orbit around the sun. Europa sucks off most of the green house gasses. All the ice on Europa melt and rain down on Venus. Now the temperature on Venus drops causing an entirely new ecological system to be created. Primitive life comes into being and eventually you get plants creating oxygen and then animals.

Then in the last stages of life on Earth millions of people migrate to Venus to set up a new Civilization. New mythologies are formed. Earth looks like a barren dessert world where the decedents on Venus can only fantasize that maybe there is life one Earth. Even a movie or two will be made about how the Earthlings will invade Venus.
