Civilisation On Mars

I think it would be very encouraging to actually have proof of an earlier intelligent civilization on Mars. It would show that humanity someday could travel to the stars. My assumption here is that if one society discovered the means to colonize another planet, we ourselves may do the same.

What would happen if we found a way to make Venus a habitable planet? Fantasizing further, maybe we will discover how to explode a certain type of atomic boom that would convert the atmosphere of Venus end the runaway greenhouse and make it a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere.
