If you saw anti-parallel motion its more likely you saw a UFO then satellites.

You are correct! During several nights in 11/99 & 12/99 (some consecutive) the satellites traveled along parallel paths on going N to S the other S to N. By the way I was looking for NGC 7293 (the Helix Nebula) not for ET.
