Though I believe what you say about local "aliens". It is somewhat possible that we could have "solar" nieghbors. Especially in the Jovian system where there is evidence of atmospheres that could sustain life to some degree. Who knows. I have seen (never contacted) a few UFO's in my life, and thought perhaps there is more to this world than we know. But being an Astronomer, and studying this vast universe, the odds of us being the only ones around is idiotic. Mathimatical odds are against us being totally alone. Phyics as we understand them may not apply at another galaxy as it does here. Perhaps faster than light travel is a drop in the bucket to others from abroad. Who know...I just love Mysteries...
