: : How many here are familiar with the Drake equation? : : It is explained at: : : http://www.flash.net/~shooper1/projects/drake.html : : : : I personally have never seen a UFO or ET. This does not however in any way cause me to postulate that they cannot exist. Probability would seem to demand otherwise. I would think it foolish to insist that their existence could not be so, even in the absence (in my case) of any direct evidence. : : Does anyone here have any comments on the drake equation itself? : Its certain that the Drake equation is perfectly logical and CAN'T be wrong. 'Flatlanders' would think otherwise... The equation not only applies to non terrestrail life/intelligence but applies to logical thinking on ol' mother Earth as well. I firmly believe that nature follows the same rule for everything and all answers can be found right here right now...
