Well, I have to tell you first of all that this is strange. Sitting on the south bank of Riviere des Praries in Montreal, Quebec, after the sun set the other day, I spot a partiularly bright star in the sky. It was in the North West sky, and about 25 degrees off the horizon. First of all I just thought it was a particularly bright star, maybe a planet, and it remained stationary for at least an hour. Then, after that period, it began to travel in a Northerly direction, slowly at first and then, I guess collecting momentum, zoomed even faster to a speed much faster than you ever see a comercial or even militairy craft at that distance. Then it disappeared! The strangest thing is, I went back a few nights later and the same strange occurance happened! My girlfriend saw it this time too. The sky has been overcast lately but I'll get back to this if I see this again. |
