focal lenth is 900mm.

Perhaps it is a matter of experience. I am new at astronomy and the scope I have is my first, but I did get what I felt was a good look with my 4mm that came with the scope. If I had previously used a better EP, perhaps I would not say I had a good look, but I had the planet in the scope and the only trouble was how fast it moved out of my view....
