My Tasco Has Taught Me A Lot!

Well it isn't really mine. My brother-in-law got it for Christmas a couple of years ago. I sorda adopted it since he lacks the determination with the cold weather. But, this little gem has taught me how to star hop, what R.A. and Dec. are, polar alignment, etc. Something else I liked, it's cheap. Yes cheap, so I don't spend a lot of time babying it. I put it in the back of my blazer and it might stay there for a month before I bring it in. Always very accessible no matter where I am at. I don't know the times that I had been at a friends house, who had a darker yard then mine, and would jerk it out for a peek.

I am about 3 weeks away from getting me a Orion 120mm Astro view. Thanks to the Tasco I won't spend half the day figuring out how to put it together or trying to figure out how to use it. I have to admit, this baby won't be riding in the back for weeks at a time. She'll be petted for sure.
