I always tell people to be happy with what they can see and not be disappointed in what they can't. That was a real good example. I really don't think you need a barlow. If you happy with view with the 4MM, you probable won't be able to focus it with the barlow and the 4MM. With the barlow on the other eyepieces, you won't get more magnification than the 4MM. I'd invest the money in a better eyepiece. You will see a difference. Are your eyepieces 1.25 or .965?
