I have a Tasco 4.5" reflector, with a 900mm focal length. I've never had much luck with it except for the moon. When I look at Saturn, it looks like a fuzzy oval shaped object. The oval shape is due to the rings.

You mentioned you got a new eye piece. A 25mm Celestron. With the EP's supplied by Tasco, were you able to see much? In other words, did the new EP make everything better? What size is your focuser? 1.25" or the smaller one? I'd like to get my Tasco up and going, even thought I ordered a 12" GPS from Meade. Any thoughts, etc would be appreciated.
