Ventured out last night for the first time with the newly constructed look-down mount for my binoculars. This setup allows the user to look down and reflect off a first surface mirror to see the sky, is great in reducing neck strain.

Located the Andromeda galaxy last night, even with the low power of my 7x50s I could see a little of the spiral effect of the galaxy, also found M103 in Cassiopeia, had to look away from cluster to see it well, I need to remember to bring notebook out so I can sketch what I see, attempted to see M52 in Pegasus but to no avail, mirror started to fog over a little.

Locating object like these is wonderful and it is keeping my daughter interested.

My question is this though, is there a way to keep the mirror from fogging over, or is that just part of the deal.

Thanks
Thom
