OH! You ment like State and stuff like that. Ocean County in NJ. I sit between 2 street lights, very annoying. I also have bad skyglow from a big intersection about a mile away. You knowm 3 gas stations, Path Mark and a host of stores. I put up 4x4 12" posts and hung 3 9x12 tarps from them in sort of a "U" shape to block what light I can. At least I don't look right into the street lights and get after vision all night. Actually, it gets nice and dark in there. There's nothing I can do about the light spilling into the sky, but after about 30 to 40 degrees up it gets pretty dark. The Andromeda Galaxy is a naked eye object when it gets high, so is the Double Cluster. I regularly see 13th magnuitude Galaxies back there, so it aint so bad. I try not to complain about what I can't see, I enjoy what I can see. I've never come close to running out of thing to see back there. Once in while I do get to a real dark sight. Have Fun.
That's it;
BOB SAL
