The news was jumping with details of a fireball that was visible just after 6:00PM July 23, 2001 for folks in Virginia, Maryland, Penn. and other states.

Being the evening rush hour, many people saw it, but no video or photos have been brought forward.

If any of you saw this thing, please post your observation report under this thread with as much details as you can provide including:


  • Approximate Time of Sighting

  • Your location

  • Where in the sky you saw it - ie From SE to NW

  • Any other details
