I enjoyed your report. I would like to try the BobSol light retarding method on my streetligh, orI might have to venture to my back yard which should retard the light, but is a much harder place to bring my tasco. I don't have bonocs, but after reading your report I am tempted to purchase a good pair. Do you have a tripod for the bonocs or just hold them?

I went out tonight and though it was not as cold in north central West Virginia (about 40 degrees) I began to get numbed fingers in about 45 minutes. I got a look at Jupiter and its four observible moons. I had hoped to get a look at Saturn, but it had already disappeared behind my neibors house. I spent some time in Orion and than explored the big dipper.... i found a double star approximately 30 degrees to the right of Jupiter, but I did not have my charts with me and it was too cold to run inside the house and out again.

It was a slightly over case night here and thus I had to fight the clouds as well as the street light. None the less a good time.
