I bought an LX10 in December and yup, it's some piece of kit!
2 questions:
Is it normal for the object in the field of view to move out of the field when the RA lock is applied? At low mags it's irritating, at high mags it's a severe pain in the !@*. The movement is greater the more the lock is applied. If I grab the fork tines and move them back and forward there is movement detectable. It's this play which is taken up when the lock is applied. Does anyone else suffer this?
Second, can someone tell me how to calculate the magnification at prime focus. With no eyepiece, what do I divide into the tube's focal length?
