6" Or 8" Dobsonian?

David,

You mentioned that there is a large leap between the 6" and 8" - I haven't been able to find a star party around here so I haven't ever seen the difference. I was planning on getting the 6, due to budget and the fact I'd have to drive to an observation spot. It sounds like there my be more of a difference than I thought between the two. Could you speak a little more about that?
