Do check into the Yahoo group mentioned by the previous writer; also check the Yahoo LXD55 group (not a large one, but it exists) at .
If your scope shakes when your dog walks across the patio (i.e. when anyone walks past) then you're not on a very solid surface. In addition to the mount, consider the surface it is on. Also, there are anti-vibration pads sold by Meade and Celestron that may shorten the length of the vibrations.
