I have had my Telestar 114AZ for about five years now and just took it out of the box after 3 years to see mars.....very disappointed to say the least.
I had better viewing from a cheap inline scope of my sisters many years ago......
Meade is a very good Scope, but this one is giving me fits.....views of the moon are great, and have seen the rings of Saturn, now it is Language Removed.
So I took a look inside to see what gives.
The mirrors have fogged badly...this is the problem!
Went to Meads site and it is no longer made, going to mail them to see if mirrors are still available.....might just get a Hardin 8"
