Greetings!

I do indeed know where you can get a new dewshield for your AR-6. I have the AR-5 and found the factory dewshield much to short to do the job. So I got an excellent replacement from:

http://www.astrozap.com/

Astrozap's replacement is made of aluminum - not plastic - and is lined with black flocking to absorb stray light. It slips over the end of the scope and is held in place by 3 nylon screws, though this not really needed as the fit is perfectly snug. It truly looks as though it is the dewshield that SHOULD have come with the scope! The match is perfect. What's more, the standard dustcap that came with your AR-6 fits it like a glove.

Price for the AR-6 dewshield is $80, and, no, I don't own stock in Astrozap! Honest! I was, and still am, very impressed with the product!

Clear Skies,

Dave
