Classic LX200 Or GPS?

For the classic LX200, consider visiting mapug.com , which has a huge archive of useful information on that scope. For the newer LX200GPS, the power supply is 12 volts, not 18. As for polarity, all I know about the LX200GPS is the wiring for connection to a cigarette lighter or jump-start type battery: the center pin on the car cigarette lighter feeds directly through to the center pin on the connector that goes into the GPS (which matches a Radio Shack type N connector, if you ever build a cord for yourself). And so (inescapably)the outside contact of the cigarette lighter feeds the outside of the connector in the GPS. |
