LX200 10" "motor Stalled"

I purchased a LX200 GPS 10" on March 27. The first two night with the scope it performed perfectly. On the third night, while tracking M82, I was sitting at my chart table when the scope began slewing in the RA to the south. After it travelled approx 135 degrees it shut down. I re-initialized it and while it was setting itself up and trying to find True N it again began slewing south, travelling approximately 135 degrees from noth, and Autostar read "motor stalled". I've tried recalibrating sensors, factory reset, etc, to no avail. Anyone else have experience with this problem? Also if I have to return it to Meade for repair what is a resonable time for them to ship it back? Crossing my fingers in Ft Worth.
