| Meade 114EQ-DH4 & DS114EC

Are these two telescopes basically the same? The 114EQDH4 seems to be the "retail" version, but they seem very similar. I'm getting the 114EQ-DH4 for Christmas and had a chance to get an ETX70AT, but chose not to. I figured the larger aperature size of the 114EQ would suit my amateur star-gazing much better. I'm completely clueless on this subject except for the last minute research I've done to get to this point. Any info would be much appreciated !!! |
