In the near future I will be purchasing a new scope. I have narrowed it down to the LX200 GPS 10" and the 12". My first choice is the 12", but my only real concern is if I would be able to lift this monster up on it's tripod. I am 33 yrs. young and 5'8". I would consider myself of average to above average upper-body strength. How high does the scope have to be hoisted onto the tripod?(Tripod at its lowest hieght of course).
thanks
