I got my LX200GPS and my Starry Night Pro about a year ago. At first I couldn't get them to talk to each other. I contacted the makers of Starry Night Pro by email--they let me know there was a patch I needed to download (free of charge) regarding the LX200GPS, which was a brand-new type of scope at the time. So depending on when you got your software, it may or may not yet have had the necessary upgrade for the new scope type. So I would contact the manufacturer of Starry Night Pro. And if that's not it, then I don't know. I don't connect my scope and Starry Night Pro very often, but it has worked the few times I've used it since installing the patch.
