Doesn't Add Up

I own the Dobsonian version of the Starfinder, 12.5 inches, f/4.8 . The tube is 59 inches long. The 48 inch length is just not possible. It sounds about right for a 10-inch scope, though.
Meade used to advertise the Starfinder equatorial line. I suspect it's been phased out in favor of the new LXD55 series.
