The manual to the LX200GPS is horrible, as everyone knows. One of the many items left out is an estimate for the duration for the 8 C cells.

I have the car adapter, but in my particular case there is a reason once in awhile for me to operate it stand-alone. Does anyone have experience with how long it takes to exhaust these batteries?
