What Is That Table With Registration Guides?

I have an LX200 8" and not looking at all like a body builders !
I find that putting the scope on the tripod with the hole just on the bolt is at the limit of feasability ! Bit left ... bit right ... bit foward, bit back , ... Erm!
I am happy not having a 10" !
Personally, I find the better way to carry it is by the rounded bottom part of the fork arms and not by the handles.
