I have the old version of the Meade LX200 12"..
All you have to do for mine Is wheel the thing out of the garage..Plug it In..
Center ONE Star and the thing goes all night centering everything..I dont even have to level the damn thing..The 1 Star alignment works fine..It's awesome !

Another tip:
Try using the two star alignment and aligning the first star, then enter # for a second star on the opposite side of sky, then hit go-to...most of the time it will center on that star and the process is complete.

Also, If you dont have the wheelie bar set up, I highly recommend getting one...Best Investment I made for my scope ! My set up time Is 5 minutes..
