I did speak with my buddy last night with the new 10" GPS. He had some trouble at first but got it working fine now. He had a few suggestions which I think came under the basic operation catagory again so I won't trouble you with that. I'm sure you've tried all that by now. Good Luck. Sorry I couldn't be more help. And by the way, I deal with lots of new inexperienced people all the time, I never refer to them as "Dummies".
