stick with the meade. i had a nexstar 11gps that i just sold, after having to send it back a few times. once because the secondary mirror mount came loose, and the last time the handheld controlleer whent out plus they had to replace the motor drive boards. and let me tell you it gets costly to ship the nexstar back to them $150.00 each time. plus the nexstar doesnt have magnetic declination compensation. plus its max slew rate is slow. cant d/l updates for it. needless to say i am now going back to meade (wish i would never have left them)
