Actually several LX200 GPS's have been delivered already. Go to www.astromart.com to the equipment forum and scroll down to the LX200 GPS "mini-review". It's not good news. Also there is a another fellow that had the same report concerning quality control. Very bad. I just hope they got lemons. One report is that the inside OTA was only primed and not painted or baffled....???? That's bad if true. If and when you get the scope, set it up and carefully inspect every inch. All of it. Including the tripod and fork arms. I've read 2 bad reports (none on obseving as of yet) on quality issues. Hopefully you didn't get a lemon. Inspect the scope thoroughly! Good Luck!! |
