| Meade Tracking Motor Problem

I have been trying to use the tracking motor on my telescope for a long, long, long time now. Finally I went in and fiddled with it, per the instructions, and it now makes noise. Sometimes it makes a loud noise and moves very fast. Sometimes a soft noise and moves very slow. Sometimes no noise and it doesn't move. I have adjusted the clutch like a million times. Any idea what could be wrong? Motor? Electronics? rbelbeck@att.net |
