Remember to use the level to level the tube and the planisphere to make sure you have the right stars. As someone else mentioned, DO NOT loosen the locks after you align the scope. If you loosen the locks then the alignment is lost. The planets position is calculated each time so they may not be as accurate as when going to stars or other objects. Make sure after you go to jupiter to move it into position with the keys on the autostar. When going to Saturn after Jupiter, make sure to hit "enter" first. After it has calculated its position then hit "goto". If you don't do it this way, then the autostar will still be trying to track Jupiter. Tell me how this works out.
