We are having an Astronomy/Stargazer Open House this Wed. at 5:30, the 16th of Jan. at Jones Magnet Middle School in Hampton. I know of three Astronomy clubs in Hampton Roads. Back Bay Amature Astronomers in Virginia Beach, the Norfolk Astronomical Society, and NASA Skywatchers. In addition, there are a couple of planetariums with free public shows. Virginia Beach City Schools Planetarium on Tuesday nights, and Chesapeake Public City Schools Planetarium on Thursday nights. The Virginia Living Museum in Newport News has a planetarium and observatory ($). You shouldn't have any problem locating people at the clubs to share observation sessions or even community astronomy outreach.
