Your Next Scope

Hello. I think that a nice scope for your next purchase would be a Meade LXD-55 Schmidt Newtonian. This is a completely enclosed OTA (Optical Tube Assembly) and your get a lot of aperature for your money. I believe the 10" is is $879. Even though these scopes aren't out yet they look pretty good. The only thing people have been worried about is if the tripod and mount are sturdy enough for the 10". Even though I think it would be a good scope to look into. I also would recomend the Meade 8" LX-90 Schmidt Cassagrain.
