I paid for the 416XT about a week ago (12/27/01). I got a good price on it though, $900 virtualy un used. I sure hope it doesn't work out like you indicated, but I'll let you know when I get it operational with the 12" LX200 GPS. Which as far as I know has yet to be shipped by Meade. I was told they were for sure going to ship on 12/27, but that date has come and gone like many they have promised. You're waiting for the 10" GPS? Let me know if you hear anything re shipping date.
