| Aperture Over Goto.

Geoff, I'm not to familiar with the scopes themselves but would put aperture first over goto. The Meade 60mm would be a complete no-no. The cost is made up of the goto functionality which is a waste of time on an aperture of that size. Try looking at scopes without goto too. I know you may think you are missing out but you will soon learn as your hobby progresses that having increased aperture wins over 'bells and wistles'. Have a look at some of the Orion scopes which get a good write up. |
