What's The Old Addage? "I Never Said It Was Going To Be Easy." There is the story about Doubting Thomas regarding those who believe without seeing, or proof. You say the burden is on the claimers to deliver proof, but through the Thomas story, it shows that actually the burden on you to decide what you believe. What is real does not matter to what you believe. Would you rather not believe in its existence then be pleasantly surprised later that it's not there, and not the reverse?
